UNLV Coaches Challenge
About the Challenge
The UNLV Athletic Department and the Southern Nevada Health District invite your classroom to participate in the UNLV Coaches Challenge, a program designed to encourage elementary students to eat healthy and be physically active.
Students and teachers earn points each day for eating fruits and vegetables and being physically active while learning the importance of making healthy choices.
This free program takes very little class time, aligns with language arts and mathematic state standards and is open to all second-through-fifth-grade classrooms in the Clark County School District.
The registration period for this year's program is closed.
Visit the Teacher Materials webpage to complete the challenge with your class without registering. Only teachers registered for the challenge will be eligible for prizes.
If you have questions, contact the Southern Nevada Health District at gethealthy@snhdmail.org or
call 759-1270.
