Meetings
The Partners for a Healthy Nevada coalition meets quarterly. Meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of February, May, August and November. Meeting times are from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. At the end of each calendar year, the membership will review the meeting schedule and determine if the dates for the quarterly meetings need to be changed. Special planning meetings for activities may be called and scheduled by the convenience of the membership. All PHN members are welcome at all special planning meetings. The Facilitator will be responsible for scheduling quarterly and special meeting dates and locations.
Facilitation
At the beginning of each calendar year, one PHN member will volunteer to act as the PHN facilitator. This role includes scheduling the meeting, arranging for a meeting room, developing agendas based on input from other members, taking minutes at the meetings and distributing meeting information to PHN members.
Decision Making
All decisions will be made by consensus of the members present.
Goals and Objectives
At the final quarterly meeting of the year, members present will review goals and objectives and evaluate the yearly progress. At least one PHN member will be assigned to oversee progress on each objective. New objectives will be developed and goals, mission and vision statements will be revised as necessary.
