Faith-Based Community Diocese Project The Diocese Project is a chronic disease prevention and education program created in partnership with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Las Vegas for Hispanic parishioners. The project works to eliminate health disparities and increase access to preventive services using cultural and linguistically appropriate health education and resources.
Health classes are currently offered to parishioners at St. Christopher Catholic Church. However, they are available to any church in Southern Nevada. For more information, contact Gail Muniz at
