The passage of the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act requires all indoor areas of employment in Nevada to be smoke-free. We would like to thank all of the participants of the Our-Business Our Health program for voluntarily going smoke-free to protect the health of their employees and customers.

Join the Southern Nevada Health District and the American Cancer Society's Nevada Tobacco Prevention Coalition in an effort to reduce tobacco use in Hispanic-owned businesses or those with a significant number of Hispanic employees by focusing on the implementation of smoke-free workplace policies.

This project will encourage business owners to provide clean indoor air and protect employees and customers from the harmful effects of secondhand smoke.

Don't Expose!

Exposure to secondhand smoke remains a common, serious public health hazard that is entirely preventable by adopting and enforcing appropriate regulatory policies. Smoke-free environments are the most effective method for reducing secondhand smoke exposure.

Restricting secondhand smoke exposure at work is good for business reasons as well. Smoke-free workplaces report reduced costs for cleaning, maintaining facilities and improved employee morale.
